le piano• The Steinway D concert-grand piano was built in Frankfurt in 1907 and restored by Piano Palme of Friedberg-Ockstadt in 2001.
• Since then it has been used for private piano recitals in Scotland, where concert pianists including Angela Hewitt, John Lill, Valerie Tryon, Aleksandar Madzar, Nikolai Demidenko, Nadejda Vlaeva, Miriam Gomez-Moràn, and Alasadair Beatson, played it. • It was moved to Marsac by the Edinburgh Piano Company in early summer 2011. • Its presence in Marsac is the inspiration for Musique à Marsac. Alasdair Beatson gave an short informal recital in June 2011 to celebrate its arrival. Nadejda Vlaeva gave the first full-length recital in August. |
